The short version
FoxTake does not collect, upload or share any data. It runs entirely on your device.
Details
Camera and microphone
FoxTake asks for camera and microphone access only to record video when you press the record button. Picture and sound are written to your phone and are never sent to any server.
Photos
FoxTake asks for “add to Photos” access so it can save each recording to your photo library. This permission is add-only: the app cannot read anything already in your library.
Clipboard
When you tap “Paste & Replace” in the script editor, FoxTake reads the clipboard once and uses it as your script. The text stays on your device and is not uploaded.
Network
FoxTake contains no networking code. It does not connect to the internet, so there is no data upload, no analytics, no advertising or tracking, and no third-party SDK.
App Store rating prompt
After a few recordings FoxTake may ask, once, whether you would like to rate it. That prompt is provided and handled by Apple through the App Store. FoxTake itself does not see or store your response.
Links
The About screen contains links to our website, to the App Store and to an email address. Tapping one opens the corresponding system app. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
Children
FoxTake is not directed at children and does not collect any age information.
Storage and deletion
Your script is stored on the device; your recordings are stored in your photo library. Both are entirely under your control. Deleting the app removes the script; recordings are deleted the same way you delete any other video. We hold no copies, because the data never left your device.
