What it solves
Filming yourself on a phone, the hard part is reading your script and looking at the camera at the same time. Notes beside the phone pull your eyes away. Memorising means one slip and another take.
FoxTake scrolls your script on top of the camera preview, right next to the lens. The direction you read is the direction you look.
Features
- Scrolling prompter Paste your script and it scrolls at the pace you set. Hold a finger on the text to pause, release to continue.
- Camera in the same frame The prompter sits above the live preview, so your eyes stay on the lens instead of drifting to a second screen.
- Portrait recording, saved to Photos Records 1080 × 1920 at 30 fps and saves straight to your photo library, ready for any editor.
- Fully offline No account, no sign-in, no subscription. The app contains no networking code and no third-party SDKs.
Privacy
FoxTake does not collect, upload or share any data. It runs entirely on your device.
The camera and microphone are used only while you are recording, and the recording is written to your phone only. The Photos permission is add-only: the app cannot read what is already in your library.
