FoxTake 2.1 Requirements, AI Credits and Pro

By the DeskFox.Ai team · Published · Updated · FoxTake 2.1

FoxTake 2.1 requires iPhone with iOS 26+. Teleprompter recording, manual or constant-speed scrolling and supported on-device dictation do not use credits. Voice Follow, one-tap video, online AI and project export use AI credits. Starting credits are granted once per Apple Account; Pro adds period credits, not unlimited use.

Check your device and app version

Check your iOS version and the FoxTake version in the app's About screen. The US App Store listing checked on October 24, 2026 identifies version 2.1 as requiring iOS 26.0. Requirements for older releases do not describe the current version.

FoxTake is an iPhone portrait-recording workspace. This guide does not promise an iPad layout, Android app, landscape recording or desktop capture application. Project export is a delivery option for further editing, not a desktop FoxTake app.

Which features use credits?

A feature running on your iPhone can still use credits. Online AI being off does not remove the credit requirements of Voice Follow, one-tap video or project export. Check your balance in Settings > AI Credits and the estimate shown before one-tap video.

Interface languages are not speech guarantees

English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French and German interfaces are available. Interface, dictation, source captions and translation target are distinct settings.

Speech and translation availability depend on languages, language pairs and device resources. Do not infer identical recognition support or accuracy from localization. Check available choices and test with your own material.

Understand credits and the subscription

Pro is an auto-renewing App Store subscription, not unlimited feature use. There is no free trial period. Check the local price and period shown before purchase. Manage or cancel through Apple Account subscription settings; Apple handles refunds.

Your credit balance is kept on our server and linked to the app transaction identifier Apple creates for your Apple Account in FoxTake. No separate FoxTake login is required; credit checks, purchase verification and security functions can need a connection. Online AI additionally has daily usage protection. See the Terms of Use for limits, fallback and refund conditions.

Your work after expiry

Your scripts, recordings and saved videos remain yours. If a subscription ends or credits run out, videos you have already made can still be adjusted, re-rendered and shared on your iPhone. This does not mean all new one-tap videos, Voice Follow, project exports or online AI become credit-free.

What should you not plan around?

Dedicated sentence pickup recording, AI eye-contact correction, voice cloning, translated dubbing and a full multi-version subtitle library are not part of this guide's released scope. An optional second translated line is different from independent subtitle-version management.

For compatibility problems, contact support with device, iOS and app versions and the action that failed. Share private scripts or recordings only if you choose to provide them for diagnosis.

Version and sources

Credit and access information updated on October 24, 2026 for international FoxTake 2.1, using the US App Store description and Terms of Use. This update is not a new purchase, device or all-region availability test. Other interface languages use localized control labels.
