Website Statistics and Privacy
Updated November 1, 2026. This notice covers this website, not the separate privacy policies of our apps.
Your choice comes first
Optional statistics begin only after you select “Allow statistics”. Declining does not affect the website. Use the “Statistics settings” button on public pages to change your choice. A browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal disables collection. Clearing website storage resets your choice.
What is recorded
We record the server receipt time, public page path, event type (page visit or download/store-link click), referring hostname, campaign labels (UTM source, medium and campaign), a random event identifier and a temporary tab-session identifier. Sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. The identifiers are not shared across websites or used to identify you.
We do not record page content, names, email addresses, full referring URLs, arbitrary URL query parameters, URL fragments, pairing parameters, or advertising identifiers. IP addresses and raw browser identifiers are not saved in the statistics event files. Network requests necessarily expose an IP address to the server; ordinary website/security logs are separate from these statistics and may contain request metadata.
Storage and retention
Events from deskfox.ai are received on our Japan server; deskfox.cn has a separate mainland China receiver. Raw cloud event files are retained for up to 30 days. We synchronize them to our own local analytics workstation for analysis, where event data is retained for up to 365 days. No third-party analytics platform receives these events. Our authorized AI assistants may read aggregated reports to help analyze website performance; those reports are processed under the selected AI provider's terms.
The browser stores your statistics choice locally for up to 180 days and, only after consent, a temporary session identifier in tab storage. No advertising cookies or fingerprinting are used. Pairing pages, shared user content, app interfaces, legal pages and API routes are not measured.
Limits and contact
Reports cover consenting visits only, not all visitors. A session is not a unique person, an unknown referrer cannot be reconstructed, and a download-link click is not a confirmed installation. We do not connect website sessions to app installation identifiers. Contact ops@getbot.me about website statistics or privacy.
